Welcome to my blog!
Me
I’m Günther Greindl (email), lecturer at the University of Vienna. I hold degrees in law, computer science and philosophy. I have conducted further studies (at undergraduate and graduate level) in philosophy of science, cognitive science, physics, mathematical logic and evolutionary biology.

Site
Why the name complexitystudies? My original intention was to work on complex systems (CS), but I have strayed.
Anyway, the insights I have gained during my research into CS have so profoundly influenced my thinking and my view on things that I thought it would be fitting to leave the name.
Disclaimer
Expect libertarian, futurist, and transhumanist opinions here.
Thinking is the art of expanding boundaries – this is only achieved by venturing into territory not charted by commonly held views. If transcending the mental constructs your society has put in place to guard you against the vastness of the cosmos – this site may not be for you.
The ideas expressed here are my own and may not concur with the opinions of my advisers (or be in alignment with official university positions).
Also, if you’re reading blog posts older than one second my opinions may already have changed.
Site Design
The wordpress theme used is Cutline 3-Column Split by Chris Pearson.
I designed the header by blending free material (photos/art) available on Stock.XCHNG. Thanks especially to the users: shifd, clix, kakaopor, gobran111, am-y and vivre.
